I was just ’sawsaw’ or a side photographer at this prenuptial shoot of my office-mate. Nonetheless, I captured these moments that will certainly last a lifetime.

Using my old Canon EOS 620 and a friend’s EF 35-105mm f/3.5-4.5 zoom lens, I caught the light that shine upon these two lovebirds who are so deeply in love with each other.

Shoot location was at Serendra / Bonifacio High Streets, Taguig City.

With my cameras and stuff, my girlfriend and I went to Manila American Cemetery and Memorial in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. It is the resting place of American soldiers who fought and died during the World War II. Some Filipino soldiers were also buried there. Most were identified but many are still missing in action (MIA).

The place is being managed by the American Battle Monuments Commission of the United States of America. Yes, it is an American cemetery on Philippine soil. Nonetheless, it is a great place to relax and reminisce the past. It is a very serene place to remember that Filipinos and Americans once fought hand in hand against the Japanese colonizers.
